Students typically begin their college search with review of university academic programs in the field they plan to study. It can be hard to single out the “perfect” school because there are many high-achieving institutions in the country that offer a wide range of degrees and programs. Why go to college in Florida? Florida has much to offer college students, including the recent ranking as Best State for Higher Education by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, many Florida graduate programs also rank best in the nation, and Florida’s MBA programs have worldwide appeal.
Junior: Georgetown University is an incredible university with top-notch professors and academic programs. Professors DO seem preoccupied with their research, but most genuinely care about students. Perhaps the most difficult aspect of the university is connected to how pre-professional it is. This can translated to club culture. People are more focused on getting jobs after graduation than most other schools. This is connected to Georgetown's return on investment, however. Well worth coming!

Cornell has the largest undergraduate population of all the Ivies, and the university has strengths in a broad range of disciplines. You need to be willing to tolerate some cold winter days if you attend Cornell, but the location in Ithaca, New York, is beautiful. The hillside campus overlooks Lake Cayuga, and you'll find stunning gorges cutting through the campus. The university also has the most complex administrative structure among the top universities since some of its programs are housed within a state-funded statutory unit.
